There is a global epidemic of diabetes and obesity and health professionals need to understand these diseases and be equipped to manage them. Our program is developed and delivered by international leaders in the field of diabetes and metabolic health. It provides understanding of and methods to manage diabetes, obesity and associated cardiovascular complications in the general population as well as particular groups, such as pregnant women.
This course will provide you with a unique opportunity to study with your peers and network with clinical and academic leaders. We adopt a case‑based format and offer online tutorials to facilitate discussion and analysis.
This degree is suited to pharmacists and nurses with an interest in the field.
Face-to-face teaching is delivered in the University’s new state-of-the-art Charles Perkins Centre research and education hub.
