About the course The fascinating world of graphic design and advertising impacts our lives almost every day. Graphic design goes beyond words – linking text and images to convey information in innovative, engaging ways – and is used in many applications, but particularly by the advertising industry. This course will give you a broad experience of the creative practice of the Graphic Designer, underpinned by an understanding of the issues affecting design. You will work on project briefs set by, amongst others, the Design and Art Directors Association (D&AD) and the Royal Society of Arts, and gain valuable work experience in the industry, building your portfolio and contacts as you learn to make sound judgements about your own work in a professional context.
