To learn the theory of good design and practice.
It is ideal for business owners, marketing personnel and anyone who want to practically use good design techniques to communicate with potential customers but have no formal design training. with the every day software or with Adobe Creative Cloud.

Delivered by professional graphic designers that can relate the theory to the practical application for day to day business needs.
A detailed course outline is provided with joining instructions. As you can book times and dates to suit you this is usually done by email or phone.
We recommend using Adobe Creative Cloud and specifically InDesign - but we do often teach the theory and apply using the software available, usually Microsoft Office, Word or Powerpoint.
Taken at a time to suit you, these can be 2 or 3 hours at a time. Condensed over a short time period or spread out to suit you timetable.
You are provided a course link after booking for the pre-agreed time and date, sent as a Calendar reminder. You are sent a reminder with a download link with free joining instructions and at the session times, we connect - it provides seamless connectivity between your computer and ours.
Unlimited post-training support by email. Ask any question and either receive a call to guide you through or an email with detailed instructions to achieve your task.
No, no video. A dedicated tutor guides you through the course, answering any questions you might have there and then. Plus you have the confidence in knowing that the person providing the solution is an acknowledged expert in their field.

Greg worked for a number of years within the print industry as a typesetter, eventually owning and running a printing firm. With his vast experience he is able to pass on his working knowledge from both sides - the graphic and print industries and is uniquely placed to train anyone wanting to learn these skills and become an industry professional. He specialises in Adobe InDesign, Quark Xpress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Lightroom and Final Cut.
Tina Rowe-Dunn
Training Director
Tina was formally trained as a Graphic Designer. In 1982 she set up her own design and advertising business and in 1992 she shifted her focus of attention to providing multi-media training across a range of software applications on both Apple Macs and Windows, whilst at the same time continuing to practice on a day-to-day basis as a marketing and design consultant, diversifying and combining traditional marketing with the web-based e-marketing and in particular search engine optimisation. Today, she divides her time between running the business, training and her first love – design.

This course provides an insight and hands-on experience with the software used to create brochures, leaflets, adverts and all types of documents that a business needs to market itself professionally. It is ideal for those who have no formal design training and require a greater appreciation of design and layout techniques
