FdA Graphic Design, Multimedia and Illustration at Warwickshire College offers a package of creative skills that will challenge and inspire you; providing the platform you need to launch your career in the design industry.

Combining live projects, core practical skills tuition and critical thinking, this course aims to get you industry ready and able to engage fully in the contemporary workplace.

What qualifications will I get?

FdA Graphic Design, Multimedia and Illustration

How will I be assessed?

The modules are integrated into a programme of continuous assessment through assignments. There are no exams associated with this course.

What is the entry process?

Applications should be made through UCAS, using the following UCAS Reference codes:

Institution code: W25 (Warwickshire College)
Course code: W210 (FdA Graphics & Illustration)

Direct applications are also accepted.

What are the entry requirements?

Minimum qualifications: Full level 3

Three A Levels at grade D or above, preferably to include Art & Design, Graphic Design, Photography, or a BTEC Extended Diploma in a relevant arts subject with Merit profile. Other equivalent Level 3 qualifications will be considered. A minimum of 180 UCAS points will be required upon entry. All applications will be subject to an interview and portfolio review. Mature students will be considered on an individual basis with a supporting portfolio.

What else do I need to know?

The delivery of the course is through lecture-based sessions, practical workshops, independent study, group and individual tutorials. Students will have access to a main base room, industry standard equipment, and photographic studios.

After completing the course, students will be prepared for various creative positions within the arts, graphic design and media industries and be able to work in a freelance capacity.
