Introduction:
Our Adult Continuing Education (ACE) programmes are short leisure courses. They are ideal if you want to learn new skills, pursue an interest, have fun, and find out more about a particular subject without the stress of exams.
This Greek course will provide you with the ability to use the Hellenic language to greet people, for use on public transport, when ordering food and drink, and for shopping.
ACE courses are funded by Lancashire Adult Learning.

Assessment:
There is no formal examination for this subject so a variety of assessment methods will be used. The course will be evaluated via constructive feedback and suggestions for improvements gathered via completion of a questionnaire at the end of the course. This has been of positive benefit in previous years in adapting the course to meet student needs.
Careers & Progression Opportunities:
This course can serve as a basis for starting or returning to more formal language courses, such as GCSEs. Alternatively, it can lead to other ACE courses or to OCNW (Open College of the North West) START or A unit courses.
