What can I progress to?

What is the course about?
Working in large and small groups, this course will cover playing the guitar fluently to an intermediate level.

What are the course outcomes?
By the end of the course the student will able to play three tunes to a fluent level of guitar playing and will have acquired a reasonable understanding of general music theory relating to guitar playing.
Students will need to practice at home. The more they practice the sooner they will master the skills.

Materials:
Students will need an acoustic guitar (Spanish or Western). Students who do not already own one may wish to wait and speak to the tutor on the first lesson. Students will also need an electronic tuner.

How will you be assessed?
Continual visual/oral assessment of each students progress. In addition student tracking sheets will be written by the tutor in the middle and at the end of the course.
