The full course program includes:
Look at the history of guitar designs and their evolution
Choose a model to base your guitar on
Select appropriate tone wood
Make traditional Spanish work board (solera), rosette jig, bridge jig etc.
Join soundboard and back, thickness to final dimensions
Make rosette and install
Prepare struts and glue in place
Bend sides
Make kerfed linings and tentelones
Make neck with head and Spanish foot / heel and fit machine heads
Assemble soundboard, head, sides
Fit back bars, linings, tentelones
Attach back to sides
Make and fit purfling and binding
Prepare fingerboard with fret slots and attach to neck
Check levels and insert fret wire
Make and attach bridge
Make nut and saddle
French polish guitar
String up
