About this course
You will need to be 18 and have some relevant experience in a gymnasium environment and the ability to work at Level 2 or higher. All applicants will be interviewed.

What will you be learning?
This course can lead to work as a gym instructor or personal trainer and enables entry into R.E.P. (Register of Exercise Professionals.
The course includes: Designing programmes focusing on individual client needs specific to their age, weight, etc.; developing social skills, dealing with a wide range of clients goals from sports specific to lifestyle requirements; health and safety and anatomy and physiology.
You will be assessed continually throughout the programme and will take an anatomy and physiology exam.

After you have successfully completed this course you can progress onto other sport courses or gain employment.
