What will I study?
The Diploma in Hair and Beauty Studies will develop creativity and skills, encouraging originality and allowing experimentation with products. Students will also need to research and evaluate the effectiveness of general management and business skills, business location and design and event management. The course also explores product manufacture in spa and business environments and the positive effects marketing and sales can have on this. Customer service and communication skills will be developed to a high level through all aspects of this course, preparing students for work in a business environment

Two years

Do I need any additional qualifications/ skills?
Attendance on some seminars and trips are an essential part of this course.

How will I be assessed?
The Diploma enables students to combine practical work with theory and analysis, and they will be assessed on their ability to reflect on their own learning and to present work through a variety of forms.

What can I do afterwards?
A Diploma can prepare students for either University or work and is excellent training for a career in the industry.
