Half-day awareness course: Effective Strategies for Working with ASD Students

Course Overview
A short course aimed at educational professionals (teachers, corporate trainers and support staff) working with ASD students. The aim of the course is to provide Participants with practical strategies and ideas for maximising teaching and learning opportunities. Potential participants are recommended to undertake the Introduction to Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) course first.

Course Structure
Venue: Thanet College Professional Development Centre (upstairs in OLRC / Library).

Mode of Attendance: 3 hour session.

Qualification Aims
This short taster session is for tutors who teach and or support students/pupils with Autism.

Assessments/Examinations
The session has no assessment.

There will be an attendance certificate on completion of the course.
