This 2 day course combines the Award in the Safe use of Pesticides Foundation Module (PA1) and the Award in Safe use of Pesticides Handheld Applicators (PA2). This training course is designed for spray operators and pest control technicians who require a certificate for pesticide applications using a handheld sprayer.

Course programme

DAY 1 - Foundation Module (PA1) - Course Content
This training day will incorporate the NPTC Evolve online assessment scheduled to commence at 4.30pm.
DAY 2 - Handheld Applicators (PA6) - Course Content
Foundation Module (PA1): Day 1 will incorporate the NPTC Evolve online assessment scheduled to commence at 4.30pm.
Ground Crop Sprayers (PA6): Following the course, candidates will be assessed for NPTC Level 2 Award in the Safe use of Pesticides - Handheld Applicators. This is a practical assessment which will take place on a separate day. Tests are organised by NPTC to take place at College, however if you wish to reschedule this to take place on your own site, please advise at time of booking.
Please note: Trainees should bring Wellingtons and spray coveralls.
Duration: 2 days (plus additional half day NPTC assessment)
