Description
An introduction to the basics of professional chocolate making
Course Content
Instruction and practice in the art of tempering chocolate ready for use, followed by the practical application utilised in making filled chocolates, novelty figuresl, hollow chocolate figures, shapes and decoration. Knowledge will culminate in the creation of seasonal chocolate gifts for Christmas.
Where a course is aimed towards an assessment/examination, it is expected that all students will enter for the qualification.

Observation, weekly.
Progression
Advanced chocolate - making course.
Materials
Pen and paper.
The tutor will advise what materials/equipment is required. The tuition fee includes a charge for materials that will be provided by the tutor and used in the class.
