On Oxford College International

Provider description
Oxford College International (OCI)
OCI was originally established in 1996 and is establishing itself as one of the most respected learning organisations in Central London. Most of our Teachers have been with us for a number of years now and are accredited with and hold British Council qualifications.

It is our intention to provide OCI Students with 'Value for Money' such that they get teaching quality at competitive prices, particularly as many young people travelling from abroad and staying in London on Student Visa's, have to consider balancing the high prices that the larger colleges charge with their budgets.

The college is ideally situated in Central London on Oxford Street close to the Tottenham Court Road tube station. Oxford Street is one of London's main shopping areas and is suitably provided for by a range of interesting bars, restaurants, health-clubs, cinemas and theatres.

As an educational organisation, we are also fortunate to have a number of large book stores near us, including WaterStones. Our courses are available all year round, and students can start any Monday. Our courses aim to improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, irrespective of your level of English proficiency, including new evening conversational classes. (Note 'Courses').

OCI is also unique in that it able to accommodate students with learning difficulties such as dyslexia.

Given the international background of our Students, English must be spoken within the College so this will add to the learning experience as well as proving to be a fun environment in which to develop friendships with fellow students. As part of OCI's commitment to you, OCI staff take part in various social events with students such as our regular 'Pub Nights' on Friday evenings!
Excursions to theatre or tourist venues can be arranged if the demand is there. To complement this, a summer programme is presented to our students for trips outside London and again, this is subject to demand.
