Health and Safety Update

An update designed for those who have already attended either a Health and Safety Awareness or Management course or the equivalent. It will be
particularly useful for staff with direct responsibilities for health and safety in
their organisations. While emphasis is placed on new or proposed
developments (including new guidance), it also includes a reminder of the basic duties under the 1974 Act.

Course Content & Certificate
Content: main provisions of the 1974 Act - recent developments in good
practice, including defending charges under the Act - safety policies - topical
items
Successful completion of the course gives a Training for Care Certificate of
Attendance.
