Course Content
This course is offered in partnership with Swansea Metropolitan University and offers the student the opportunity to explore the rich and diverse field of Health and Social Care.
The course brings together elements of physiological, sociological and psychological health and social care related topics. Module content is of direct relevance to a wide range of health, social care and welfare provision.
Teaching/Assessment
Throughout the two years of the course, various teaching methods are employed. This ensures that every student has the opportunity to experience what best suits their learning style.
The student will study a number of units. Written and verbal assignments are used to assess progress. There are no formal written examinations.
Progression
Career pathways include health promotion, welfare, nursing, social work, management, probation, education welfare, education support, occupational therapy and physiotherapy.
