Health and Social Care Intermediate and Advanced Apprenticeship Details

You will cover the following units: Communicate with and complete records for individuals Support the health and safety of yourself and individuals Develop your knowledge and practice Ensure your own actions support the care protection and well-being of individuals You will be able to choose two optional units in addition to the compulsory ones above. You will be given the opportunity to complete a First Aid Qualification, a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, training in Manual Handling, Health and Safety, and Nutrition and Healthy Eating. Technical Certificate: this is the theory and underpinning knowledge you require within your job. The qualification is called the Level 2 Certificate in Health and Social Care. You will also complete the Employment Rights and Responsibilities workbook to ensure you are aware of your legal status as an employee. Training in Moving and Handling, Basic Food Hygiene, Food and Nutrition, Infection Control and First Aid.
