Who is it for?

This course has been specifically designed for Health and Social Care Workers. It is a nationally recognised qualification which can support and enable staff with their organisations care delivery practices.

What is the course about?

Providing core personal care by furthering individual career skills and organisations.

You must already be in a Health and Social Care environment to complete this course.

Course overview

• Each candidate is given a learning pack which includes a Workbook at induction.
• This award involves both direct care, where the focus is hands-on care (doing things for clients) and enablement care where the focus is on the development and maintenance of the client’s independence.
• The candidate must complete 6 units, 4 core plus 2 optional.
• Your assessor will observe you in your care environment
