How do I attend?
The only College attendance necessary is at Thurso, Alness or Wick for an evening induction session.
What will I study?
All of the materials for this qualification are available paper based. Units studied at level 2 include Health and Safety, Communication and Protection of Individuals.

On successful completion of level 2 your employment opportunities will be enhanced and you may be able to move on to the SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
On successful completion of level 3, in addition to your enhanced employment opportunities, you may be able to move on to the PDA Care Services' Managerment, the BA Child & Youth Studies or the BA Health Studies.
The Level 4 qualification meets SSSC registration requirements for managers.

Note that the units counting towards these qualifications have been approved by ILA Scotland and it is therefore possible to use a current Individual Learning Account (ILA200) to help offset the cost
