Core elements: Anatomy and Physiology for Exercise Principles of Exercise, Fitness and Health Understanding the Employment Organisation, Rights and Responsibilities Understanding the Active leisure and Learning Industry Know How to Support Clients Who Take Part in Physical Activity Health, Safety and Welfare in a Fitness Environment Principles of Customer Service Diet and Nutrition for Healthy Living Developing self Food groups and Digestion Specialist Units: Planning Gym Based Exercise Instructing Gym Based Exercise Instructing Circuits Instructing Studio Resistance Training Group Indoor Cycling Planning Health Related Exercise and Physical Activity for Children Instructing Health Related Exercise and Physical Activity for Children Additional qualifications: You will be expected to work towards an appropriate Level 2 qualification in English and maths if you do not have Grade C or above at GCSE in these subjects.
