This title shows how to promote your own health and safety and that of others. It will help to make you more aware of the many hazards in childcare settings and explains your responsibilities and legal obligations for health and safety.
Taking reasonable care for your own safety and that of others means that you must: know about the policies and reporting procedures in your place of work; recognise general safety issues and risk assessment; be aware of equipment and fire safety issues; promote infection control and personal hygiene.
