The NVQ will enable those working in the Health & Social Care Sector to become occupationally qualified and. comply with the mandatory requirements of the Care Standards Act 2000. Suitable for: Employed people of any age over 16 years who work with children or young people in a supervisory role within a health and social care setting. For example, carers in a residential school.

Course outline:
- Performance will be covered by 3 workplace observations – holistically across as many units as possible, witness statements and products from the workplace
- Knowledge will be covered by written questions, verbal questioning and/or professional discussion
- Scope by a combination of observation, questioning (written and/or verbal) and witness statements
- Assessment will generally be carried out at the workplace and on a 1:1 basis although it is expected that more than one assessment will take place at any one visit
- Additional 1:1 tutorial support as required
- Basic Skills support as identified
As part of an NVQ learners are entitled to
- An individual programme of learning according to your needs
- Assessor visits to your workplace every two weeks
- One-to-one support as required.
- Completed units returned within two weeks
- Certificates awarded with every NVQ unit achieved
- Review of progress every three months
- Easy contact with Rapido including out of office hours

- To enable you to achieve within 4-24 months
