Course programme

Shortlisted for one of CORGI's Installer Live 2009 awards, our new purpose-built "changeover" course is specifically for people with allied skills (gas installers, technicians etc).

With sales of solid fuelled appliances going through the roof, especially for wood burning, there is every possibility that demand will outstrip supply - particularly when it comes to getting those appliances installed by a competent person.

HETAS is aware of demand from people with allied skills [gas installers, oil technicians etc] wanting to register. So, GASTEC at CRE Ltd helped HETAS in putting together a new all purpose-built "changeover" course specifically for those types of applicant.

This course has a practical, hands-on element allowing practical demonstrations of safety checks and tests.

This course is designed for engineers in allied fields who want to expand their knowledge and experience to work with solid fuel appliances. The HETAS Changeover Assessment is designed to cover categories 2 and 3 of The Three Routes to HETAS Craft Membership.
