I would recommend this course for several reasons. Firstly the qualification you acquire will open up job opportunity's. Secondly it's very informative. I've been driving for years and thought I knew a lot about large vehicles however when it comes to Carriage of Dangerous Goods it's a whole new ball game. Thirdly I believe the course has helped me to not onlt become more aware but helped tomake me a better driver.
I would highly recommend this course provider for several reasons. from the first time I phoned them to get information about the course right up to when I was booked in, the service was brilliant. The office staff were friendly, informative, extremely helpful and professional and this follwed through with the Instructor and Training as well. The whole experience was very enjoyable. I had to travel up from Cornwall over 2hours away from Exeter, so the staff organised my accommodation at a delightful local Bed and Breakfast for the week which was also very affordable, so much so I took my wife with me and we turned it into a lovely break. Everything was well organised, and professionally done. all the thinking was taken out of the equation for me and it was all planned and co ordinated brilliantly. Again highly recommended.← | → -
I completed a 5 day Training Course with FCD, to complete my ADR Training and I found the course to be very professionally run. The instructor was informative and helpful. I would highly recommend this ADR course to anyone requiring the ADR certification. The Course itself was excellent value for money and I have already referred a couple of my mates to your course. The course structure I experienced took a very natural pattern and seemed to suit me down to the ground. I literally had no idea what to expect but the instructor was not only informative but enjoyable to be around too. There was always an aim to each lesson and the goal was always to make improvement whenever possible. This helped me greatly as I was quite nervous to begin with on day one, but when it came to the end of day one I could not get enough of the training. When it came to day two I ended up arriving very early before the session. I would definately recommend this course to anyone.
FCD are great! I could ask as many questions as I liked and would always be made to feel comfortable and welcome by the office staff. My instructor assured me that I could contact them literally at any time of the day. This is definitely the case with FCD as I phoned the office after 9pm on one occasion about something and yes they were available and as always was made to feel welcome. I believe that FCD would bend over backwards to help you, regardless of the time of day. The service was always impeccable.← | → -

Any HGV Training school can teach you to drive, but FCD create a positive, enthusiastic approach to driver Training that increase your knowledge and level of skill. If you want to learnt to drive HGV vehicles well then I suggest you learn with FCD, The information on the course was very informative.

Well where do I start. This course is suitable for anyone wanting to gain the C+E licence entitlement to drive articulated lorry's. The Training and course is both informative and enjoyable. I have learnt to drive to a very high standard. Bearing in mind I'm a Class one driver with over 20 years of experience at that standard, I still learnt a lot about how these large vehicles operate. I would recommend FCD due to there professional and enthusiastic aproach to driver Training.
This is easy. They are brilliant in every way. From the moment you phone FCD to passing your test I felt supported by every member of staff. Nothing is too much effort for FCD and they always go the extra mile to make sure that you are prepared, relaxed and totally informed every step of the way. It took just over two weeks for my licence to come back from the DVLA after passing my rigid and I was ready to go. FCD had taken me through the process right from the beginning and in less then 3 months from start to finish I had completed my C and C+E Training. After retiring from the local constabulary i was eager for a complete career change and this suited me to a tee. The Training with FCD was informative and enjoyable.

Excellent Training, very well organised and easy to understand. i enjoyd my rigid Training with FCD and was confident with my C+E it was harder then I expected it to be, however with the help of my instructor and some hard work I passed first time. As a Training Provider i can not recommend FCD highly enough. From the moment you contact them to the passing your test. There support and knowledge instantly puts you at ease. Their professional, relaxed approach to Training is superb. I had all the thinking taken out of the whole process for me. Nothing I could really dislike apart from tmy instructors joke telling ability and the actual test with the DSA examiner.

What I would highlight:
I thought the training was brilliant. I did a five day Training Course with one on one Training with my instructor and it was great. I was hesitant to begin with but after a few hours i got the hang of the gear box and i haven't looked back. I learnt to drive at a very high standard and that's been reflected in my work with my current employer. The driver training is exceptional good value for money and I would recommend FCD to anyone requiring an HGV Licence.

Being watched by the examiner throughout the test. Unsettling, but as i felt quite confident i just concentrated on the drive and did it.

What I would highlight:
I did a weeks HGV C+E Articulated Lorry Training in Exeter, Devon with FCD. I thoroughly enjoyed my Training. A lot harder then i thought it would be. This was the 3rd lot of Training I've done with FCD and I recently went back for the 4th time to do my ADR Training. They instruct in a very clear manner. I originally did my B+E Car and Trailer Training with FCD several years ago now and passed first time. I was so pleased with the Training and how affordable it was that last year I went beck to do my C Rigid and a few weeks later I did my C+E. I can say that the standard of instruction is very high. I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring Driver Training. I also just after Christmas 2010, completed my ADR Training with FCD again a very positive experience and would highly recommend FCD.

What I would highlight:
I thoroughly enjoyed my Articulated, Class 1 Lorry Training with FCD. It was a loy harder then I expected. I passed my rigid test a few weeks prior to doing my artic, and it was a challenge that I enjoyed. I learnt very quickly and gained a thourough understanding of what was expected of me, this was purely down to my instructor, who was brilliant. A friendly, relaxed learning experience. i would highly recommend FCD to anyone wishing to do and HGV Driving Course. Cheers Ross

What I would highlight:
I would recommend this course purely based on the high standard of training and service. They explained everything in a clear way. I understood at all times what was expected of me and how to achieve what was required of me at all times. I was quite hesitant at first, however, my instructor instantly put me at ease and my confidence soared. I learnt to drive at a standard beyond what was expected of the test, so as to make allowances for nerves on the day. I am already an owner driver and earning nearly double what I was earning as a Warehouse Manager.
I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn to drive HGV's. The standard of training was excellent. The training was professional as was the service by the lady's in the office. My instructor was informative and constantly supportive. a huge Training area that was very forgiving with the revering exercise in the beginning. The layout of the training Depot was identical to what I experiened at the test centre which helped me considerably. A quality company all the way.

I'd have to say if anything the preparing for the exams was a little nerve racking, however the instructor made sure we were all well prepared which helped alot. A bit like being back at school really
