Higher Certificate in Horticulture
About the Course This HC Horticulture allows students the freedom to choose from a range of undergraduate modules in horticulture and has proved to be a popular choice among those who are new to higher education, the recently retired, overseas students who wish to study here for 1 academic year, or those looking to change careers. The course starts in both September and Mid January and is suitable for both part-time and full-time study.
This study route allows students to gain an award by the successful completion of 4 blocks of study (120 credits) from the undergraduate horticulture scheme, at least 90 credits of which must from the first year. The remaining 30 credits may also be obtained either from the first year of the degree or alternatively from the second year or from other Undergraduate Modules offered by the college. Variations to this may exceptionally be possible via the development of an individual learning plan agreed by the admissions officer. We will be happy to discuss this further if you want to know more.
