This course is designed to develop your academic and practical skills and knowledge of this vocational area.

The subjects you will study include:

· Working in a hospitality team
· Food preparation and cooking
· Providing a hospitality service
· Dealing with costs and income in hospitality
· Working safely in hospitality
· Customer service standards in hospitality.

The course will develop your personal learning, thinking skills and ability to work as part of a team. In addition to this, the course will also develop your analytical, creative, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

During the course you will have the opportunity to achieve additional
qualifications in English, Maths and IT as well as industry relevant
qualifications.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed continuously through a range of assignments,
investigations and practical assessments. You will undertake work
experience and complete a work related project.
