Introduction:
This HNC consists of eight modules studied on a part-time basis. As the modules studied on an HNC are identical to those studied on a Foundation Degree, it is possible to top-up to a Foundation Degree with an additional year of study.
Study Mode & Location:
This part-time course can be studied on a day release basis, or one afternoon and one evening per week, or on an evening only basis (two evenings per week) over two years. It will be held at Preston College, Fulwood Campus, St Vincent`s Road, Preston, PR2 8UR.

Careers & Progression Opportunities:
This part time Higher National Certificate (HNC) has been developed to meet the needs of the major functions in business and has been developed with career progression and professional recognition in mind. The qualification is recognised by major professional bodies and employers in both the private and public sectors as appropriate for supervisory, junior and middle management appointments. Successful completion of this course allows students to progress to a BA (Hons) Degree in Business Studies (part-time) at the University of Central Lancashire. Students may also gain entry to other business related degrees and professional qualifications.
