About this course
Ideally, you should have at least GCSE grade C English among a spread of GCSE higher grades. We welcome students who have not studied GCSE History.

About the Course
You will study four units (two at AS Level and two at A2 Level) from a range of topics including the following:
- French Revolution
- Anti Semitism - The Holocaust
- Tsarist Russia
- China 1945-1976
- Tudor England â€" Richard III to Henry VIII
- Britain in the 1960s
- The Reformation

Assessment is by combination of written modular examinations and an individual assignment (an extended research essay in your A2 year).

No Course Fees for Under 19's. Over 19's must pay, or claim Level 2 or Level 3 Entitlement for FREE courses .
What next?
A Level History is fully recognised as a qualification by employers and for higher education. It is an excellent preparation for many careers such as law, media management, business, financial services, social work, banking, human resources and advertising.
