The History programme was rated 13th out of 93 History programmes in the UK for its teaching quality in latest (2015) Times Good University Guide The History programme at Canterbury Christ Church University combines high-quality teaching with internationally acclaimed research in a friendly and supportive learning environment. All our tutors are active research historians who publish on such diverse and fascinating areas as medieval queenship, early modern social history, and modern international history, and our students greatly value being taught not just by teachers of history but by professional historians.
