Additional Information:This course studies the technology: how the products of computer science relate to business and society. You will learn software packages rather than programming and will require significant development of your written and verbal communications.

COURSE OUTLINE
This subject has been developed for students of different disciplines to use a task driven approach to problem solving and decision making that relies on the effective use of information and communication technology systems. This subject consists of 40% coursework.
AS

• Information, Systems and Applications (written paper)
• Structured ICT Tasks (coursework)

A2

• ICT Systems, Applications and Implications (written paper)
• ICT Project (coursework)

Progression from AS to A2 will be consistent with college policy. Students must submit all AS structured tasks to be allowed to continue to A2.
