- Study of Art History
- Two optional units on a range of aspects of art
Year 2:
- Year abroad:
- the British Institute of Florence (classes conducted in English)
- the University of Richmond in Virginia
Year 3:
- Histories and Theories of Art
- Organisation of a virtual exhibition
- Four units on themes or movements in art or architectural history (typical areas might include Constructivism, The English Gothic Church, The Renaissance Portrait)
Year 4:
- Dissertation (12,000 words)
- Research Issues in Art History
- Two optional seminar units (typically specialised studies of an artist or topic in depth)
