Successful completion of the Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Division 2 Nursing) course enables students eligibility to apply to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia in accordance with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for registration as an Enrolled Nurse.

The Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Division 2 Nursing) has mandatory on and off the job training components .  The off the job training is conducted as the theoretical component of the course. The on-the-job training is known as Clinical Placement and is unpaid work experience that is undertaken at a set time at the end of each semester at a relevant health facility.
You will undertake three placements throughout the duration of this course, as follows:Placement 1: You will undertake a placement in aged care. This placement will be held in your first semester for a duration of four weeks (160 hours).Placement 2: You will undertake a placement in community care. This placement will be held in your second semester for a duration of one week (40 hours).Placement 3: You will undertake a placement in acute care. This placement will be held in your third semester for a duration of five weeks (200 hours).
