About this course

Learners should be at least 18 years of age and possess one of the following:
BTEC National Diploma, AVCE or CACHE Diploma in Child care and Education, Access to Health or Humanities
1 A Level
2 AS Levels
Applications from mature learners (over 21 years old) with no formal qualifications but with an interest in care are actively encouraged.

Learners are expected to gain voluntary or paid employment in care working a minimum of 600 hours over two years in order to fulfil the course requirements.
