Course programme

Overview

It combines a good all round understanding with specialist knowledge of emerging equine areas/ techniques.

With the support of major feed manufacturers in the UK we will be working on research projects from September, which all learners will be involved in. In addition there will be behaviour projects.

There will be trips to Ireland and either Holland/Germany as well as opportunities to attend major shows/ industry events (at additional cost).

Venues to include Waterfront Huddersfield, Hargate Hill Equestrian Centre and a working farm/ yard for research studies. Transport available between venues.

  • Equine Exercise Physiology
  • Equine Sports Medicine
  • Animal Husbandry Management
  • Management of the Performance Horse
