You will be assessed on an ongoing basis through assignment-based coursework, although there are some internally set tests. Our courses are assessed by the College and externally moderated by BTEC Edexcel. What can I do next If you are thinking about further study, you may want to consider a university degree course in an engineering subject, or an eighteen month top-up to a Foundation Degree in Mechanical Engineering or HND Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Operations Engineering is a demanding yet rewarding career with opportunities to work in industry, manufacture, the military and utilities. You could be working on roads, bridges, tunnels, stadiums or even skyscrapers by controlling excavation machines, facilitating waste removal or repairing equipment. Or how about designing and developing the machinery in the first place? Course Modules Further Mathematics for Engineering Technicians
