On this course you will learn and develop the foundational skills required to pursue a career in social care.

One academic year.

You will gain knowledge and expertise in subjects including human development, human behaviour and needs. You will also look at a variety of social care provisions to help you analyse and evaluate social care in the 21st Century.

Relevant practical experience is crucial as part of your course will involve you undertaking a 60 day placement. This helps you focus on developing your own skills in the care field and relate theory to practice.
