You may progress to the third year of a degree or honours degree programme (studied units to match to the degree programme selected) or to professional qualifications including AAT, CIM, ACCA, CMI and CIPD. You may also progress straight into employment.


There are eight mandatory core units in the Edexcel BTEC Higher Nationals in Business which include: Business Environment, Managing Financial Resources and Decisions, Organisations and Behaviour, Marketing Principles, Aspects of Contract and Negligence for Business, Business Decision Making, Business Strategy, Research Project. Plus additional specialist units from the following pathways: Accounting, Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Law or General Business.
