The Higher National Diploma is a specialist vocational programme with a strong work related element at HND level, which is included as one of the 2nd year units. The qualification provides a thorough grounding in the key concepts and practical skills required in the sector with national recognition by employers allowing progression direct into employment or to degree.
It is a franchised award; the awarding body is the University of Chichester (UC). Furthermore it also allows students (Network path) to achieve the full CCNA qualification (Cisco Certified Network Associate), a vocational qualification widely recognized through the software and networking industry
