About this course

Two Higher Grade passes, plus two Standard Grade passes. HNC Hospitality Operations allows direct entry to Year 2. Students with appropriate industrial experience may be accepted without formal qualifications.

Successful students may progress, in some instances, to year 3 of an, ordinary degree programme.

Career Potential:
Job opportunities exist throughout the UK and abroad, ranging from, positions at supervisory and junior management level in a range of, hotels, restaurants, cafes, holiday resorts and conference centres, bars, and clubs, cruise liners, industrial and commercial outlets.

Course Assessment:
The course is assessed, when possible, in a realistic work, environment where students get the opportunity to put theory into, practice and critically evaluate performance. Students will also be, actively encouraged to apply practical experience to project and, theory based assessments. Where our training suites are not, accessible, case study assessments are used based on industrial, establishments.
