HND Performing Arts Overview

Creative communication is central to the programme of study, encouraging actors to develop a range of skills that will enhance their employability in the industry.

Acting for camera, directing, outreach drama, classical, contemporary and voice and speech are explored practically, with underpinning knowledge and research to support and guide the creative pulse of each project.

The HND in Performing Arts would appeal to those with a high level of commitment and a professional approach to practical work and personal development. You may also have the opportunity to go on local, national or foreign trips to broaden creative horizons, experiencing performing arts at work in a variety of contexts.
