The Holistic Therapy Specialist course is specifically designed for those wishing to become Holistic Therapists. This is an ideal course for beauty therapists wishing to include holistic therapies in their treatment portfolio.

The Holistic Therapy Specialist course includes a selection of courses, which will enable you to provide a variety of holistic therapies to a very high standard.

There will be a theory and and a practical examination after each element is completed.

The training to gain this qualification is 12 days in duration.

Work experience is available for successful candidates. Please enquire at time of booking..

The price of the course includes a full course on how to run a successful Business, Taxation, Health and Safety.

You will be qualified to a very high standard and be able to obtain insurance to work in a Salon or Clinical Environment.

All equipment and product will be provided for your training. You will be given an appropriate list and supplier for you to purchase your own product and equipment for your own use and Salon.

About this course

Beauty Therapists wishing to add the Holistic Skills.
Those wishing to offer Holistic Therapies.

All candidates will undertake a variety of Holistic treatments on models supplied by the Academy. Due to its nature candidates will be standing for long periods and will need to wear comfortable footware and clothing as oils will be used in many of the therapies.

An Anatomy and Physiology Certificate is needed. If a valid accredited certificate is held, then this element will not be required.

A uniform will be required whilst undertaking training.

This course is designed for those wishing to become Holistic therapists. This is an ideal course for Beauty therapists wishing to include holistic therapies in their treatment portfolio. This includes a selection of courses which will enable to provide a variety of holistic therapies to a very high standard. The course includes a free online Anatomy and physiology course valued at £200.00 which can be taken alongside the other courses included in the Holistic Therapist selection of courses. This is only required for those who have not previously taken the Beauty Specialist course or hold an accredited Anatomy and Physiology certificate.

THEORY: HOLISTIC THERAPY SPECIALIST

All therapies that are included in the Holistic Therapy Specialist course include theory modules, which will be sent to the student prior to attendance. The time spent learning these modules will be dependent on the student. An exam based on each module will be conducted once each practical training session has been completed.

PRACTICAL: 12 days.

• Anatomy and Physiology (free) - On-line Course

• Massage - 2 Day Practical + Theory module

• Hot Stone Therapy Massage - 1 Day Practical + Theory module

• Aromatherapy Massage - 3 Day Practical + Theory module

• Indian Head Massage - 2 Day Practical + Theory module

• Reflexology - 2 Day Practical + Theory module

• Pregnancy Massage - 1 Day Practical + Theory module

• Paraffin Wax (Full Body) - 1 Day Practical + Theory module
