Course Overview

During this 10 week course the learner will sample a variety of crafts that will go towards making items for the home for example a piece of pottery, a canvas for the wall, a flower arrangement, a cushion or simple chair cover and possibly a piece of glass for a light catcher or table decoration. The course will be co-ordinated so that learners will get information about
colour themes and styles.

Tutor talking - 20%
Tutor demonstrating - 20%
Learner doing - 40%
Class discussion - 5%
Learner writing - 1%

Group work - 3%

What materials or equipment do I need?

Learners will be instructed at the first session about
the programme. Cost of materials will need to be met
by learners (at cost price if supplied by tutor) The
course should not cost learners more than £15 in
total for materials.
