Horticulture Apprenticeship Level 3

A range of horticultural tasks dependant on the sector you choose and the options chosen. These could include: Plant nomenclature, terminology and identification Monitor landscape maintenance and inspect landscape features and facilities Set and mark out landscape sites to establish grassed and planted areas Establish planted areas Maintain irrigation systems Plan and collect propagation material Prepare for and maintain equipment and machines Safe use and application of pesticides Organise the delivery of reliable customer service Repair and restore walls Provide nutrients to plants or crops All training is delivered in the workplace where you will receive comprehensive instruction designed to equip you to be able to carry out relevant real-life horticultural tasks. You will be visited regularly by a dedicated, qualified Trainer/Assessor to assist and advise you and to monitor and record your progression.
