Hot Wax and Bleaching (Beauty Therapy)

Course Content & Information:

Hot waxing is a treatment that is usually offered by therapist already offering warm/cool waxing as a add-on service to their current services. The training is carried out using Hot wax. This course will cover the usage and practice of different types of hot wax on different body areas excluding Brazilian waxing as Brazilian is a separate course.

This Course will also cover bleaching its purpose benefits, techniques recipes etc.

• Health and Safety
• A &p related to hot wax and bleaching
• Practical training and demonstrations in hot waxing and bleaching
• recipes
• Treating different body areas
• Aftercare advice

Do I Need A Model:

It is strongly recommended that students arrange models to practise the practical aspects of the course for 11.45am if this is a problem then therefore students may have to work on each other

What Qualification Will I Receive:

Upon successful completion of the course students will be issued with a certificate nationally recognised and insurable by BABTAC (British Association of Beauty & Cosmetology) & The GUILD Of Professional Beauty Therapists.

What Course Can I Progress Onto Next:

Upon successful completion of this course students may wish to progress further into Brazilian Waxing, Electrolysis and other advanced depilation courses. Hot waxing as a NVQ course is incorporated into the NVQ Level 2 waxing course.
