Explain the legal and regulatory influences surrounding Safe Handling of Medication in the Social Care Sector.
Identify both national and local level standard operating procedures
Examine the role of a trainer including structure and methods of deliver
Implement a training programme to enhance staff engagement and compliance.
Design a training programme covering all aspects of Medication principles
Implement a Medication Competency assessment system within your organisation.

Assess the competency of those handling medication
Analysis risk factors that influence the likelihood of incidents occurring
Devise bespoke prevention strategies relevant to your organisation
