Course programme
Course review:
The HSE Emergency First Aid at Work course gives the candidate a solid foundation of knowledge in basic first aid. Candidates will learn when to summon help, how to place a casualty in the recovery position or commence resuscitation as required. Candidates will also learn how to deal with a choking casualty, and look at basic management of bleeding, breaks and burns. Common medical conditions will be discussed, along with the importance of monitoring the casualty whilst waiting for help, keeping safe and the reporting of incidents.
