The aim of this module is:
To provide students with the opportunity to develop a critical understanding of human resource management (HRM) theory and practice
To provide students with the opportunity to explore and analyse different approaches and techniques to human resource management
The learning outcomes for the module are to enable the student to:
Critically analyse different theories and approaches to human resource management
Critically analyse and evaluate different HRM techniques
Critically evaluate HRM theories and tools to effectively manage human resources
Analyse and apply different HRM developments and practices in the health and social care sectors
Develop skills in the analysis of Human Resource issues and the formulation of appropriate HRM responses
