The MA in Human Resource Management & Development is a 12 month programme that equips students with the theoretical underpinning for a career in Human Resource Management and Development (HRM/D) – from recent graduates, who may not have an HRM/D background, to those in work, seeking career development or transition.
The course provides you with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles and techniques of managing and developing human resources in organisations. This programme allows you to explore the key functions within HRM/D and gain an appreciation of how policy and practice can impact upon overall organisational objectives.
You will engage in a critical analysis of best practises and their application to globalisation and international development processes. The course examines the current international business environment and its diverse nature of social and economic challenges to the management and development of human resources.
