Focusing on areas such as strategy, leadership, resourcing, reward management, employment relations and employee engagement, this MA develops recent graduates and those in the early stages of their career who want to delve deeper into the field and enhance career progression. Not only does the course address highly relevant topics on people management and development, it is also grounded in the professional standards of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, ensuring you meet internationally recognised HR benchmarks.

Core to the course is the development of capabilities in the use of people-related metrics, analytics and data for insight driven and informed practice to further organisational success. The course also requires engagement with activities such as case studies, student-led appraisals and a residential weekend, all of which embed an understanding of how you can apply theory to practice.
