STUDENT PROFILE

This programme is designed for people who work in or wish to work in the field of Human Resource administration and management.


COURSE STRUCTURE

The course consists of nine study units from which students may elect to study ANY FIVE. This provides a very flexible form of study giving an opportunity for students to choose units which are most appropriate to their job, career or personal development needs

The course is divided up into nine units, as follows:


HR1 Recruitment and Selection
HR2 Human Resources Legislation
HR3 Employee Relations
HR4 Performance Management
HR5 Records & Systems
HR6 Payroll
HR7 Training and Development
HR8 Team Building
HR9 Coaching & Mentoring Staff



DURATION
Students may study over any timescale of up to one year. To complete the course will take in the region of 150 hours of study.

Your study pack contains everything required to complete your course and no further purchases are necessary.

ASSESSMENT
This course is assessed through a series of tutor marked assignments. No attendance at an exams centre is required.

ACCREDITATION
This course is validated by OCNNWR and provides 6 credits. These can be accumulated with other course or unit credits over a period of time which can lead to an accredited qualification.


OCNNWR provides validated courses through its provider organisations which must meet robust quality assurance standards. It is a licenced member of NOCN which is an approved awarding body licenced by QCA to offer accredited qualifications.

Study Units are also mapped to National Occupational Standards (ENTO) for personnel management and administration.

SUPPORT
Students receive tutor support for a full one year from registration plus unlimited access to the student helpline during working hours.
