3. Entry requirements To enrol on this Access to Higher Education Diploma, you'll need to have GCSEs in both English and Mathematics at grade C or above. If you don't currently have a GCSE in Maths at grade C or above, but have a Functional Skills Level 2 or grade D qualification, you can enrol on a GCSE class to run alongside this Access Diploma. You'll need to check if other GCSEs, such as science, are required for the degree you're interested in. If you'd like to start preparing now for the course, and for subsequent university applications, there are a few things you can do to put yourself in the best possible position. It's helpful to get as much relevant experience as you can, which could include volunteering with support or youth work, in museums or libraries, with mentoring schemes, or writing for any number of publications - whether it's poems, short stories, reviews or factual pieces. This will support the requirements needed for a strong university application and help to ensure you make the most of this course. 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5.
